Dear family & friends,
2010 has been life altering for me! I know now more than ever that I was made to impact the world with Jesus' love. As many of you know I attended a Discipleship Training School last summer through Youth With A Mission {YWAM} which is an international volunteer organization dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. This was a huge time of growth and healing for me, and I was able to travel to Panama and Costa Rica for my outreach. I was overwhelmed by all your support during this time, thanks again!
The one thing that the Lord reiterated in my heart was that He was calling me once again to serve in missions. I felt like my heart was being torn every time we left the people that had grown to mean so much to me. I wanted to walk with them, help individuals discover how to use their unique all the treasures Jesus placed inside of them, and see them walk into their destinies. All this to say I am beyond excited to be going back to Costa Rica with YWAM for the Children at Risk school, and then joining staff of YWAM Jaco. The aim of the CRS is to help individuals find out how to use their unique giftings, talents and calling to minister to the least of these. Every single person has a treasure inside them, but sadly most aren’t walking in it. My heart is to uncover what Satan has covered up, and to help see the people of Costa Rica understand who they were created to be!
This school is going to be a foundation for me to really work from. I think it is going to be a launching pad for me to do the ministry that I want to do and that brings such joy to my heart! Since I have been back God really showed me that I had forgotten my original desire to love abused women and children, specifically those who have been touched by human trafficking. I am not exactly sure what all is before me in Costa Rica, but I am ready to embrace the journey that will get me there. I am seeing that this may be trying and obstacles may get in the way, but I believe that God helps me through and guides me in each step.

Pray that He would refine and challenge me spiritually as I make preparations for my upcoming departure on June 25th 2011. For me to be able to serve the Lord full time I need people to partner with me. I want to give you the opportunity to be part of what God is doing through me in Costa Rica. As I shared before, I want to be in missions long term but I can't do it without a team of financial supporters. I do trust that the Lord can and will provide everything that I will need over the next year. I would like to invite you to become a part of this team. I need to raise around $600/month in order to cover my living expenses and other ministry costs, if even 35 people gave a gift of $20 a month I would meet my goal!
